Comes with all of the sensor connections pre-installed on color coded and printed wire which attaches to the engine and transmission using the factory ECM plus wiring for the fuel pump, electric fan and diagnostic port. It will allow you to wire the engine and transmission when installing them into a earlier model vehicle like Cobra kit cars, Muscle cars, Street rods, Trucks and 4×4, etc. This is not a factory replacement wiring harness. This harness is designed to use the original Ford 5.0L ECU. (not included with this kit). Will have to be reprogrammed to remove PATS anti-theft at a minimum. The picture represents the items you will get, but some items may be different. These engines originally used a returnless fuel system. The ECM maintained a fuel pump that was equipped to operate at variable speeds. A fuel pump driver and fuel rail pressure transducer worked with the ECM to control this special fuel pump. To use this wiring kit, you will need to use a return fuel system. You will need to install a fuel pressure regulator between the pump and fuel rail and run a return line from that fuel pressure regulator back to the fuel tank. These engines require 32-33 PSI at idle and 41-42 PSI at Wide open throttle. Each item is specific and we want to include the correct wiring. We cannot build the kit until the question has been answered. With this harness you can design where to mount your ECU and the routing of each wire custom to your vehicle. This harness allows you to mount the computer up to 20 feet (in Trunk, under seat, behind kick panel inside the vehicle) away from each sensor. The computer plugs-in 18 inches from the stainless steel Telorvek panel used as a junction between the computer and sensors that contains the fuses, relays and check engine light. There is an additional wire for mounting the check engine light on your dash. You will get a bag for each sensor with a wired sensor connector and 20 feet of wire. Each wire is printed where it is coming from and going to every 10 inches. You plug in each sensor and run the wires back to a terminal block on the Telorvek panel, cutting the excess wire and crimping a fork terminal. Place the numbered wire with terminal under the numbered screw and tighten the screw. Once every sensor and fuel pump is wired and plugged in, you will have 3 wires to hook up (Battery feed, Ignition feed and ground). This harness is built in the U. With brand new OEM Ford connectors and 260 degree automotive grade GXL wire (thicker insulation than TXL wire). The harness includes OEM diagnostic port for Ford 5.0L.
