This Wiring Specialties PRO Series harness was designed from the ground-up, specifically for a Universal installation with a 1JZGTE VVTI engine swap. It was developed in house on an actual JDM JZ engine to ensure a perfect fit to all engine sensors. This harness will work exceptionally well in any installation chassis. Anything from a Dune buggy to a Classic car or a race car. The engine fires up with only 2 wires needing connection, along with a fuel line and a good battery. The harness is designed’Tucked’ for a clean installation. The harnesses are built to exceed OEM spec for wire quality and power/ground routing. Wiring Specialties offers a number of options for common performance upgrades for this product. Build your perfect harness by selecting from the available options to the right. Engine: JZZ30 and JZX100 1JZGTE VVTi. Any VVTI 1JZGTE from Chaser/Mark II. Any VVTI 1JZGTE from Soarer/Crown. Sports cars with no OEM body wiring or Non EFI cars. Cars that benefit from EFI wiring run without body wiring connections. 1JZ VVTi Specific Details. Oval alternator connector supplied, unless requested otherwise. New Style Starter, Plastic coolant and Oil pressure connector supplied be default. Standard – batched ignition (chip and coils) is supplied, but sequential NON VVTi is available as an option. External and removable Fuse and Relay block. Relay system installed for proper ECCS ON and OFF operation with ECU Memory retention. Relay block includes the Ignition, Fuel Pump and Fan relays. The Fan relay can be reclaimed as the AC relay. Fuel Pump output wire that connects directly to the pump. Starter trigger wire available in the interior for easy and clean install. Battery power pick-up at the starter for easy and clean install. Ignition input signal from ignition key. Harness is designed to keep the ECU in the cabin and will reach both left and right bulkhead openings. For GM/LQ9 coils upgrade should be used with an aftermarket ECU and run sequentially. Wideband option for ECUs that do not process a raw wideband signal, a controller must be used. Controller like a EUGO or the Haltech CAN wideband. AEM Infinity and ECU Masters ECUs (and other standalone ECUs) are wired for wideband control direct out of the ECU. The LSU 4.2 Version of the Wideband SHOULD be used, as per AEM. AEM Infinity and ECU Masters are pre-wired for Oil Pressure, Fuel pressure, Oil Temp, IAT and MAP sensor wiring directly to the ECU. ApexI PFC conversions ONLY include the IAT sensor on the main harness. The MAP sensor is wired separately, from the PFC box directly to the sensor. OUTPUT connections for ECU tachometer signal, check engine light, engine temp (Nissan dash signal) and alternator charge indicator, reverse lights, speed sensor, NOTE: Output signals supplied ONLY they may need to be conditioned for use with vehicles gauges. Aftermarket gauges may be required. This part of the install REQUIRES connections of the EFI harness to the body/dash/steering column of the car.
